Although the project started back in 1998, In-Sight officially formed in 2000 as a Swedish melodic death metal band, inspired by InFlames, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Children of Bodom and so on.
In 2002 the band produced and released their first album, “The Experiment”; “Infection of Mind”, their second album, followed by short distance and has been released in 2004.
Back in 2005, after having experienced several line-up changes, the band released “Endorsed by Hate”. In-Sight continued to perform at many clubs and pubs, but we had to wait until 2012 to hear their fourth album, “From the Depth”, distributed by Audio Globe Logic Illogic. This album sees the introduction of a second feminine voice, changing the original sound of the band. In 2014, despite many line-up changes, In Sight went on a short but very successful tour, performing in Latvia. After three years of inactivity, the band returned in 2017 with a renewed line-up and release the album Enlightened by Shadows. Unfortunally in 2020 there are a new line-up change, but the founder and drummer of In-Sight, Mek, never gave up and wanted to bring back the band’s very first aim and sound, and so In-Sight are back, currently working on a new album, louder than ever!
